I have tons of coloring pages for you! You're welcome to use my crayons and LEGOs but please put them back in an organized way so it's just as nice or more organized than you found it.

9/20 - 9/30- Intro to HTML

9/23 - Present

Use what you've learned so far about HTML and CSS and create your own webpage! Get creative and experiment. Ask me if you need help figuring out how to do something specific.

  • Get a GroupMe.

  • Use something like OneNote to keep track of your assignments. I suggest having a way to "check off" if you've completed AND submitted something.

8/23 - 9/2 -- Intro to App Development

We're learning the basics of Code.org's App Lab.

1. Sign in to your Code.org account with your Lakeside Google Account.

2. Go to Intro to App Lab

3. Complete all videos and coding lessons #1-15.

1. Open a new App Lab Project (Go to "My Dashboard", and scroll down until you see "App Lab" near the middle of the page).

2. Create an app that allows you to click a button, move to another screen, and the last screen should contain a button that takes you back to the first screen. You should have a total of 3 screens. This tutorial video shows you essentially this type of app.

3. Finish early?

   1. Add buttons to allow the user to go forwards to the next screen OR backwards to the previous screen.

   2. Add a button to each screen that changes something on that screen.

   3. Want to continue exploring App Lab? Check out this doc with several programming examples in App Lab.
